Can I enroll into various training options or do I need to pick one?
Yes, you can enroll into various training options. One of the most common training combination clients choose is team training supplemented with group skill sessions. Feel free to ask us about the different components attached to each training option.
What is the difference between a trainer and a coach?
In our local environment, it is important to understand the difference in these two terms: A coach is someone that has volunteered to be responsible in the assistance of team logistics such as scheduling, contacting parents, holding player cards etc. A trainer is a soccer professional that focuses on player and team development and acts as the lead in all soccer related decisions. One of the main GEF goals is to transform the local area into a well developed soccer region, for this we aim to educate parents and coaches on how the game should be trained.
Besides training, is there anything else that GEF offers?
Yes GEF offers a variety of services. GEF trainers are not only developed to be soccer trainers, but also as educators and consultants. Currently GEF provides consulting and workshop services. Talk to us for more details. GEF services - Be on the look out for new services coming out this year.
How are GEF camps different from the norm?
Innovation is the easy answer. Our camps are designed to actually improve the player and aid in their development. All camps have different themes and target varying components that are essential to player development. Players will be positively challenged and have fun in this unique soccer experience. Will I be assigned one trainer specifically?
It is beneficial to have different trainers and perspectives involved in a player's development program. While we do assign lead trainers for groups, it is common that trainers rotate so that players experience different environments and ideas. It is important to note that all GEF trainers follow the same philosophy and curriculum so there is consistency in training at all times.
Does GEF offer any deals or discounts?
Yes GEF currently provides three different types of discounts that can be applied for small private individual or group skill sessions only. In order to check eligibility for discounts, please make a personal request:

Customer referral - One free session for every customer referred - applies to sessions that are equal or lesser value.
When are my fees due?
Training fees are due up front before sessions begin. New customers must pay fees before beginning training and all other training fees are due at the beginning of each month. Please refer to our training menu for more details on training options and cycles. Please note that a player will not be able to attend training if his/her fees have not been paid.

I've heard you guys provide player evaluations, can you elaborate?
All GEF training provides some form of evaluation to the player as it vital for player development. The GEF small group private training provides the most extensive written evaluation paired with a verbal evaluation. These evaluations are based on player competencies for specific development phases.
What happens if my child gets hurt in the middle of an individual private training cycle?
