Warcats were knocked out

The U15G GW Warcats traveled to represent South Texas as State Champions in the Region III President's Cup Championships in Lafeyette, Louisiana June 11-14.

The Warcats lost a hard first game to North Texas 3-1 in extremely muddy conditions. Due to severe weather, the remaining games were cancelled. Unfortunately, the Warcats were knocked out in a coin toss with no chance to see action against Oklahoma and Louisiana in group play.

A truly unfortunate ending to a fantastic season for the young ladies. They continue to push the limits of success and showed that they belong with the best in the country.

The GW Warcats are now a two-time South Texas state champion and several players will represent South Texas in the U.S. Soccer Olympic Development Program Region III Camp this summer in Alabama.
